Our Yurts

After spending 3years living in a yurt in the Forest Of Dean Cath decided to start making them to sell. It has become a passion in life as well as the basket making and it is a good way to provide low impact low cost but comfortable and secure housing.

We make yurts using locally grown superior Ash, helping to promote responsible woodland management and new products from Dorset woods.
The frames are steambent and handfinished and after completion,the frame has been treated with a natural oil such as linseed.
The canvasses are made to fit each yurt frame using a fire retardant waterproof 15 oz olive green canvas or natural white.the yurts come with a fitted heavy duty pvc groundsheet.
